Mish is a UK based illustrator and print maker based in Cambridge.   

She spent most of her working life as a musician - violininst,  composer and  choral director and teacher. Her work in educational outreach programmes opened her eyes to the power of story telling. She has always sketched, and played about with colour so further developing her in terest in chidlren's illsutration  was inevitable.

A year at Sudbourne Park Printers in Suffolk was followed with MA in Children’s Illustration at ARU in Cambridge. She intends to continue with individual art work as well as illustration for children's and young people's books.

Her stories reflect the world we live in, its warmth, kindness, whimsy and sense of wonder,  sometimes gently touching on the darker side, as life is a balance that we negotiate.  Our choices make us who we are.
